Architectural Reviews

Just a reminder that spring is around the corner and that is the time of year when many folks want to spruce up the exterior of their homes and yards.

Remember: if you want to make any improvements to the outside of your home, you must first submit your request through the Architectural Request link submit a request to the Architectural Review committee. This link is also always available on the First Hyland Greens website, hylandgreens.org.

Please include a full description of the work to be performed and any pictures, brochures, samples, etc., that may assist the architectural committee in assessing the work you have planned.

Unsure of what needs a review? In short, any changes to the exterior of your home. This includes but isn’t limited to:

• Exterior painting

• New patios, decks or driveways

• Replacing windows and doors

• Installing play equipment,

• hot tubs,

• roofing,

• fencing,

• dog runs,

• patio covers or awnings

• substantial landscaping such as planting trees or grass or extensive landscape work.

Please understand it may take up to 30 days for a response to your submission. You must have approval before work commences.
