Trash & Recycling Update

We should all have our new trash cans by now. The yellow lid is for recycles and the black lid is for regular trash. Our pick-up day is still Mondays so you can put your cans out on Sunday evening. With our contract you may also put out three (3) additional bags of trash or yard waste. Cans should be removed from the street and put out sight before Tuesday morning.

The distribution of the new cans was impressive. On November 20 they delivered about 790 cans. As of this writing, there are about 20 more homeowners that need cans. These were the ones that paid a bit late. If you passed the park that morning it looked like a military operation of standing, new, clean cans all at attention waiting for their orders.

There is a number imprinted on each can that is assigned to your address. Just a reminder that these cans belong to HBS Trash. There is also the phone number on the can you need to call if you have issues with a broken can or missed pick-up. You can also call and make separate arrangements if you have an over-sized item that you need removed.

Trash and recycling pickups will be on Mondays starting Dec 2, 2024. Recycling is picked up every-other week, while trash is picked up every week.

Please remember that trash and recycling cans must kept out of sight from the sidewalks and public walkways.
